Investigation Continues into Death of UberEats Driver

An UberEats driver, Muhammed Anwar was killed Tuesday, March 23rd from a carjacking gone wrong. Two teen girls are accused of 2nd degree murder, they were trying to steal Muhammed Anwar’s car, using a taser as a weapon. In a viral video, you can hear Anwar shouting “this is my car!” Anwar was holding onto the side of the car when all of the sudden the two girls got the gear shifted and then started speeding up the street where they crashed and flipped the car onto its side. With Anwar clinging onto the side of the car, the 66 year old man was killed at the scene. The two teen girls, 13 and 15 years old were charged with a felony murder. 2nd degree murder while armed, carjacking, and reckless driving, according to Insider.com. The names of the girls will not be revealed due to their young age.

Mohammed Anwar has a GoFundMe page set up. As of right now, the fundraiser has raised over 1,049,000 dollars. The money is going to relieve the family of Anwar with troubles.
