POSTED November 15, 2022

Two women glued themselves to the handrails of a dinosaur exhibit in Berlin’s Natural History Museum on October 30th. Caris Connell age 34 and Solvig Schinkoethe age 42 are a part of the climate activist group named “Uprising of the last Generation”.  The group’s focus is protesting the German government’s handling of climate change is one of a handful of recent climate demonstrations. The protest continued for about 20 minutes until police arrived. Releasing the women from the handrails took another 40 minutes, and The Natural History Museum said it had filed a criminal complaint for trespassing and property damage.
