Climate Activists Pour Slime on Mummy Replica

POSTED November 15, 2022

On November 14th 2022, climate activists that are a part of the Futuro Vegetal group, threw slime on a mummy replica at the Egyptian Museum in Barcelona. The activists poured red and brown slime that represented blood and oil to protest the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference. They also held up a sign saying “COPca-Cola” in the company’s iconic font. They pointed out the fact that Coca-Cola is one of the worlds largest plastic polluters and one of the main sponsors of the conference. The Museum was understandably not happy about this and had the protesters were removed.
