New York State Seized Record Amount of Fentanyl

New York authorities seized record amounts of fentanyl-laced prescription pills and powder throughout 2022. The New York Drug Enforcement Administration Division seized nearly 2,000 pounds of fentanyl powder, which is about 72 million lethal doses. They also got their hands on nearly 1 million counterfeit pills containing fentanyl. Fentanyl is reported to be one of the most dangerous drugs to hit the streets in recent times. In 2022, 2,300 lives were taken by fentanyl just in New York alone. The Drug Enforcement Administration has been working hard to rid the United States of Fentanyl, and things are looking up.
