Scouting for the best Cookie: a Girl Scout Cookie Review

POSTED April 11, 2023

The Girl Scouts started in the small town of Savannah, Georgia, in 1912. At the time women couldn’t vote, they were also held to high societal standards. The first troop was comprised of 18 girls, Juilette Gordan Low was the first Girl Scout and founder of the group. This is where the famous Girl Scout cookies originated.

Our newspaper staff reviewed 10 different types of girl scout cookies on a scale from 1 to 5 stars according to taste. The nutrition is based off the sugar and saturated fat content per serving of cookie. The price is calculated by taking the original price and dividing it by how many cookies there are in the box.
