School Shooting in Nashville Tennessee Update

On March 27th, a 28 year old transgender man in Nashville, Tennessee, shot and killed 6 people at the Covenant School, a Christian school for students in preschool through sixth grade. The perpetrators journal was found, and contained plans of mass murder. Police suspect the perpetrator had feelings of resentment and that could be a motive; it was also revealed they were a former student at the school. 

In response, students all throughout Tennessee peacefully protested at the state capital. They demanded that lawmakers take action regarding gun laws. Three Democratic lawmakers protested alongside the people; these lawmakers have also been stripped from their committee assignments due to their involvement in the protest. If these Democrats were to get expelled, Tennessee would have a super majority of Republican lawmakers.
