A 17-year-old has been charged with murder in connection with The Mall of America shooting last month. The shooting broke out after an altercation between Levon Semaj Longstreet and Johntae Raymon Hudson; a bystander was also grazed by a bullet. Police have been searching for Levon after he fatally shot and killed 19-year-old Johntae on December 23, 2022. Longstreet was recently found and arrested in Georgia, and was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree assault. It was reported that multiple people were involved in the shooting, including 18-year-old Taeshawn Adams-Wright. He was charged with second-degree murder with intent and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
