On Mar 30, 2023, staff from Feeding South Dakota, Hy-Vee and the Sioux Falls Police Department are teaming up to help those in need by giving out hams. This is a part of HyVee’s annual giveaway called  “Hams for the Holidays.” This yearly event is not just in Sioux Falls, but all over the region providing 6,600 hams to Feeding America food banks. This giveaway will be held at First Methodist Church (401 S. Spring Avenue) starting at 5pm and it will go until all 400 hams have been given away.
