With all the movies coming out constantly, it is hard to know what’s binge-worthy and what is a potential waste of time and money. Instead of taking that risk with the new releases you should revisit a classic such as “The Princess and the Frog”.

One of the reasons why this movie is such a great revisit is because of the music. The styles of music in this movie are jazz, zydeco, blues, and gospel.  This wide variety of music is good for people’s diverse musical tastes.

Also, it has a great message, “to accept everyone regardless of their looks”. This is a good reminder for everyone to not judge on looks and focus on personality.

“The Princess and the Frog” has a beautiful setting in New Orleans and an accurate image of how it is there. In addition to that, it’s nice to see a princess working for what she wants and not giving up no matter how hard it gets or what anybody says.

So if you want to sit down and watch a family movie this should be at the top of your list.
