Pennsylvania resident Naomi Whitehead is believed to be the oldest living person in North America. Naomi Whitehead is currently living in a senior care community in Greenville West Salem. She secured her status after Elizabeth Francis of Texas died on October 22, 2024, she was 115 years old. Whitehead was born in September of 1910, on a farm in Georgia, and she has outlived her longtime husband and three sons. She is currently 114 years old.
Naomi Whitehead has lived though WWI, WWII, the teachings of MLK Jr, and the Covid-19 virus outbreak.
Whitehead says she has never smoked, or drank alcohol. She has credited her long lifetime to good genes and enjoying various activities such as cooking, baking, drawing and listening to music.
