Senator Dusty Johnson, a South Dakota originated Congressman and chair of Main Street Caucus, visited President-Elect Donald Trump in his Mar-A-Lago Resort on Sunday. That evening, accompanied by fellow legislators such as Representatives Mike Flood and Stephanie Bise, the group joined Trump for a dinner as a means to prepare for the coming inauguration. In cohort, the group discussed plans on budget reconciliation, southern border policy, and other priorities of the Republican Party. The dinner didn’t only include legislators, however, as other Republican figures were in attendance. In an instagram post made by Senator Johnson, he included “Talking with Sean Hannity as we get ready to have dinner with President-elect Trump”. Specific discussions and conclusions have not been publicized, but it is clear that they were made in light of President-elect Trump’s coming inauguration.
